The promotion opens at 12.00am on Tuesday 1 September 2026 and closes at 5.00pm on Monday 26 October 2026, New Zealand Daylight Time.

What matters is when your job is confirmed under clause 4, not when we sent the quote. An August quote confirmed in September is in.

Your deposit or purchase order has to reach us by that closing time. 26 October is Labour Day, and a bank transfer may not clear on it.

Any shade solution with a quote total of $5,000 or more including GST is a valid entry, whatever the product and wherever the shade is going. That is the final figure at the bottom of your quote, GST and installation included. You cannot add two quotes together, and if we revise a quote the $5,000 is measured on the one you go ahead with.

The entrant is whoever is named as the customer on the quote. A person has to be 18 or over and live in New Zealand. An organisation has to be New Zealand based, and whoever signs for it must be an authorised adult.

If an organisation wins, the prize goes to that organisation. We will not redirect it to the person who signed.

Each confirmed job is one entry and you can only win one prize. Companies in the same group, and the same customer ordering under more than one name, count as one customer.

Our people, our contractors, the agencies helping us run this, and their immediate families cannot enter. That means a partner, parent, child, sibling, or anyone at the same address.

Your job is confirmed when we receive either a deposit towards it or a purchase order for it. Any deposit counts, including a reduced or staged one.

A deposit counts from the day the money reaches our bank account. A purchase order counts from the day it reaches us. We keep the bank record or the purchase order for every entry.

There is no entry form and it costs you nothing extra. We will tell you that you are in the draw, and if we did not, your entry still counts. If you would rather not be in the draw, say so.

If your order is cancelled, or reduced below $5,000 including GST, before we hand your prize over, your entry is withdrawn and we may draw someone else. The same applies if we refund your deposit and the job does not proceed. We will not ask for a prize back once you have it. None of this applies if you cancel because of something we did, or using a right you have by law.

The Summer Fun Pack has a total retail value of about $1,395 including GST, based on New Zealand recommended retail prices as at 24 August 2026. Retail prices change, so we cannot promise it could be bought for that on any given day. The prize is the items listed, not cash. It cannot be swapped for cash or credit, passed on before we hand it over, or set against your invoice or anything else you owe us. Any tax is the winner’s own. The shade sail in our advertising is not part of the prize.

We buy the prize items in advance, so it is unlikely anything will change. If an item turns out to be unavailable, damaged or discontinued before we hand your prize over, we will replace it with something of the same or greater retail value and tell you before you receive it. The pack will not be worth less than the value above.

The draw is at 10.00am on Monday 2 November 2026 at our premises. Every eligible entry goes in and every entry has the same chance. We draw the major winner first, then the two runners up from the entries that are left.

We will try to reach you by Tuesday 3 November 2026, by phone and by email. Please tell us by 5.00pm on Thursday 12 November 2026 that you want your prize. If we reach you close to that date, you have at least 5 working days from then.

If a prize is not accepted, or the winner becomes ineligible for whatever reason, we will draw a replacement winner from eligible entries.

We hand your prize over once your job is finished and your invoice is paid in full.

If we are the reason the job is not finished, that does not count against you. Nor does holding payment back using a right you have by law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and we hand the prize over once the matter is settled.

If your job is not finished and paid in full by 5.00pm on Friday 30 April 2027, the prize is no longer available and we may keep it. That date moves out by however long a delay covered above lasts, and we will write to you at least 20 working days beforehand if we are still waiting.

We deliver within New Zealand at our cost, but not to a PO Box.

If you win, we may ask to photograph your Lidgard shade for our website and social media. That is optional and it is not a condition of your prize.

We announce winners on our website and our Facebook and Instagram pages. For a person we publish your first name and the initial of your surname. For an organisation we publish its name. By entering you agree to that. If you would rather we did not name you, say so when you accept your prize and you still get it.

Our Facebook and Instagram pages are run by Meta, an overseas company, so anything we post there is held outside New Zealand and may not have the same privacy protection.

We use the name, phone number, email address and suburb on your order to run the draw and to contact you, and nothing else. We do not sell your details or pass them on for anyone else’s marketing. You can ask us for the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded. We supply the prize goods to you, including any replacement, so the Consumer Guarantees Act applies. If something is wrong with a prize item, contact us and we will sort it out. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage from taking part or from using a prize.

We may change these terms, or pause or end the promotion, if something outside our reasonable control happens or the law requires it. We will not take away an entry you have already earned, and we will not cancel the draw once the promotion has closed.

We decide any question about eligibility and how the promotion runs, acting reasonably and in good faith, and we may disqualify an entry for dishonesty or interference with the draw.

This promotion is open in New Zealand only and these terms are governed by New Zealand law. It is not run or endorsed by Meta.
