Omega retractable pergola systems provide flexibility in controlling shade and weather protection, making your outdoor space usable year-round.

Additionally, because they can be paired with advanced automation features, our retractable roofs can detect wind and rain and be programmed to close automatically based on conditions.

Can the Omega pergola withstand strong winds and heavy rain?

Yes, the Omega pergola is engineered to withstand winds up to Beaufort scale 10, offering reliable protection in high winds. Additionally, the structure is also watertight, ensuring you can enjoy your space even in heavy rain.

Is the Omega pergola system automated?

Yes, the Omega pergola comes with automated control, allowing you to easily extend or retract the roof. You can also opt for remote or wall switch operation and integrate sensors for even more convenience.

Can I add outdoor blinds to the Omega pergola for full enclosure?

Yes, outdoor blinds from Lidgard Shades can be added to enclose your pergola, creating a comprehensive all-weather solution for your outdoor space.

Is there any warranty?

Each Lidgard canopy and retractable roof structure enjoys a 5 year warranty on workmanship, 5 year warranty on motors and 5 year warranty on all other components and roof membrane.

What fabric options are available for the Omega retractable roof?

We offer two premium fabric options: Serge Ferrari Soltis-502, which comes in 48 solid colours with a 10-year UV warranty, and the Serge Ferrari W96 range, available in 8 colours, which allows up to 19% infrared light transmission.

What are the size options for the Omega pergola?

The Omega pergola has a maximum projection of 10 metres and width extensions ranging from 2.5 to 15 metres. Because we can full customise the retractable roof, we can design and manufacture a system that perfectly fits your outdoor area.

Can I add lighting to the Omega pergola?

Yes, LED lighting is an optional extra that can be integrated into the pergola system which means you’ll be able to use your outdoor space comfortably during both day and night.

How much maintenance does a retractable pergola require?

Simply put, the Omega pergola requires minimal maintenance and is built to last. We advise regular cleaning of the PVC membrane or mesh. Additionally, we would also advise wiping down the frame every now and then to keep it in optimal condition. The automated systems are built for durability and long-term use and backed by the Lidgard quality guarantee.

What customisation options are available for the frame and colours?

The Omega pergola’s frame can be customised in any colour from the Dulux Duralloy coatings range. Additionally, you can choose a second powder coat colour for seamless integration between the frame and fabric membrane.
