Summer is finally on its way. We’ll soon be able to get out and enjoy the garden, BBQ and soak up some long-awaited sunshine. Although, ‘Four seasons in one day’ is a phrase often used to describe our New Zealand weather conditions even in summer, but it doesn’t need to be a reason to not enjoy your outdoor living.
Our New Zealand made Outdoor Blinds have been designed to give you the flexibility of outdoor living all year round. Whether you’re looking to add flexible shelter for sun protection with a new build pergola, canopy or to an existing patio, our Outdoor Blinds are the ultimate flexible and sophisticated solution.
Outdoor Blinds from Lidgard have been designed specifically for our Kiwi environment and are the perfect solution to protecting ourselves and our loved ones from the harsh New Zealand sun, variable winds or unpredictable rain downpours.
Customisable designs will provide shelter and UV protection to create your ideal living spaces that can fully enclose an area or be completely retracted, giving flexibility to enjoy the full surroundings of your beautiful outdoor environment.
Made from high quality canvas mesh in a selection of colours to block out UV rays or choose from our architectural PVC to maximise your view at all times.
For our full colour range of quality mesh contact us to find the exact match to compliment your home whilst providing 95% or 99% UV block out.
Creating that perfect outdoor space doesn’t need to cost a fortune either. At Lidgard we’re able to help you to create a solution that is tailored to meet your needs – and your wallet. With pricing as low as $1600 up to only $2500 (dependant on size, material and installation).
For the ultimate convenience, a fully remote controlled automatic motorisation can also be added for approximately $525 per blind, although it’s important to note that the electrical work is required to be carried out by a registered electrician.
With your chosen Blind, you can also choose from one of three key fixing styles, custom made for your situation.
Ziptrak and Urban Track are the premium outdoor blind system with patented, track-guided design that glides smoothly and stops at any height. They run in side channels and are spring operated so they retract with ease, with the side channels powder coated to match your home.
Cafe style screens and patio blinds are made using the highest quality clear or tinted outdoor PVC or mesh fabrics. They are easy to use and are simply operated by a removable crank handle.
Handroller blinds are an excellent solution when seeking a budget conscious blind; we use quality heavy duty zips and reinforce the edges with hard wearing fabrics and attach our blinds to your building via aluminium awning track.
This all makes for not only a highly cost effective solution, providing both exceptional visual appeal, but also additional value to your property for very low cost compared to traditional build.
Lidgard Outdoor Blinds are built to last and every part of the design and manufacture process is handled by us, so you can rest assured your blinds are quality made with quality products right here in ourAuckland factory. There are no corners cut or outsourcing of manufacture; we are one of only a few that actually manufacture your blinds and are hands-on from start to finish ensuring your blinds purchased from Lidgard come with a 10 year UV warranty.
That care and quality begins with our design and manufacturing, flowing through to our installation processes – and continues through our after sales care. But we prefer to let our customers speak for us, so you can check out our customer reviews to see why they believe Lidgard outdoor blinds design, quality, durability and installation is second to none.
